Jeff B
What is the diameter of the exhaust pipes coming into the muffler? I tried to measure a while back, but didn't have any calipers and measuring a round pipe with a ruler just wasn't cutting it. Thanks
kelleyperformance
2.
BigCountry
between 2.5" and 3" but closer to 3. I'm installing a muffler with dual 3" inlets and flaring the tubing slightly to fit. orion :: SS
^^^ Correct. It's almost 2.75" OD at the muffler inlet. A 2.5" inlet on a muffler is flared to fit over a 2.5" OD pipe...so it's almost a match to the stock tubing, so you can 'butt weld' it (or whatever the term is). But I'd do a 3" inlet, so it slips over the tubing. - Brian
