misterp Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 I haven't done it, but I would bet that yes you can reinstall the starter and it will fire; the problem is that I am assuming you have no exhaust installed, and this will interfere with proper function of the O2 sensors, and the engine will not stay running when the PCM goes into closed-loop operation. silverado_ss_04 Posted November 15, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 everything is hooked up except the tranny, one thing i do notice thow on the dash it dont show what gear im in, do i need it to say im in park to start? if so how do i make it think its in park?
