Maximus
I was just thinking, about how much HP would I really get without losing some low-end torque by changing out the stock system on the SS. IMO the stock system sounds really good, and it already has gigantic pipe under there, so if I concentrated on mods such as a PCM, AirBox, and maybe a shift kit I should still be able to make just as much HP as someone with a different exhaust system right? I mean maybe another truck would sound more "Aggressive", but I know a lot of guys whose bark is much bigger than their bite!! Any and all opinions would be appreciated. zippy
without having any dyno numbers on it, i'd say the gain is roughly 5-7 hp at the wheels.
adams2003
Not much gain, just sounds alot better and you get a little bit better throttle response.
