zippy
Link Dealer cost is 2967.00 so it should be reasonable to any dealer looking to actually sell one.

Bear
Cool deal and not a bad price, but what interested me in the link was the MSRP of the LS9 crate motor. $35,715 What did they do, fill the crank-case with gold instead of motor oil. supersub
Still dont think it is quite enough. 720hp Fly or to the wheels. good price though if no core charge. def a thought.
Black2003SS
Thats good news. I'm sure it probably comes with some tpe of warranty. Probably still looking at $5-6k though to drop one of those into an awd ss with all of the conversion parts and a better converter.

If your 65E is still holding, this thing would be enough.

Would love to nail it from a dig like we did in (Brad's)shadowsnipers truck, with whats in front of mine just to feel all that power! I AM CHICKEN! lol! think this 4l85 could handle that? zippy
Yeah, I think it could. Their testing was likely not with the converter that comes with it, but likely with a 4000+ stall speed. This thing should be one nice piece. I'm waiting for the rest of the spec's on it. You're probably going to be 100+hp over your current with the new mod coming and if getting everything out of it at the track is the idea, an 85E would be perfect for it. For everyday use though I'd still keep the 65E. Tough choice.
