dcairns
I was clearing my P0430 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) ) again, but this time I used EFILive ver 6. I noticed some other stuff there. I assume the B Codes are from the BCM, and P Codes are from the PCM. Is there a list of what these B Codes mean anywhere? I think the last one occured when I opened and closed the door while the truck was moving (hadn't closed all the way). The others seem to be proprietary. zippy
B0183 and B0188 are for the right and left sunload sensors. B0283 is rear defogger voltage B2645 is for the ambient light sensor signal circuit B2961 key in ignition signal with ignition on B1740 seat adjust switch input is to the driver seat module is active for more than 60 seconds. there is a website with all of them codes. just need the magic password

dcairns
Thanks for the definitions on the codes, Zippy. B0183 and B0188 are for the right and left sunload sensors. Not sure what that means. Too sunny here in SoCal? B0283 is rear defogger voltage Since I replaced my rear window with a slider, the defogger is disconnected, so that makes sense. B2645 is for the ambient light sensor signal circuit What? Now there is not enough light? B2961 key in ignition signal with ignition on Sometimes I like to watch the gas gauge go up while fueling (engine off, of course). B1740 seat adjust switch input is to the driver seat module is active for more than 60 seconds. Probably the car wash guys moving my seats around
BenKey
You should get a code for disconnecting the wire for the door chime, I do. Only when I do a detailed scan of BCM codes using EASE, though. I get a few others also.
