DanY
I had my Line-X installed under the rail when the truck was new. It is sprayed up to the tailgate cap in the back. Of course this means the tailgate cap gets all scratched up sliding things in and out of the bed. I put some of that clear plastic stoneguard protector over the cap to stop the damage. In the front the liner is sprayed over the top of the bed. Basically over the rail on the front bed wall and under the rail on the sides. I think this is pretty standard based on pics that I've seen of other peoples trucks.

steve summers
I had mine done last Friday. I was hauling a 4 wheeler frame to the sandblaster yesterday. The frame slid from the back of the truck and hit the front wall of the bed pretty hard when I came to a fast stop. I thought oh crap, I haven't had the coating on a week and now I have a big hickey in it. I got out to see the damage and there wasn't any evidence of the frame hitting the bed. This did teach me that the LineX coating is a little slick though.

luvmySS
if you have the time, i would like to see more pics of your bed lining. Here is a picture of the tailgate for you Parker8. As you can see I've already done a pretty good job of scraping up my cap by the way, it looks really sweet and clean. Thanks.
Parker8
looks good. i think that is the way i am going to have it done and put some of the clear tape on the cap. my dirt bike is killing the tailgate cap, but the clear tape will do the job. leupy
Big question is, how much did it cost?
DanY
The going rate seems to be around $400 for an under the rail. I think they quoted me $35-$50 more for an over the rail. Remember to check Line-X's website. They used to have an online coupon for $20 off.
