mattshs2005 Posted February 1, 2009 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 Hi everyone I am from louisiana and i recently purchased a 2003 silverado ss AWD after some lady ran a stop sign and totaled my 01 durango 5.9 r/t. When i saw this truck at the dealership i knew i had to have it! It is mostly stock except for true dual exhaust, i believe they are glasspacks...not 100% sure so check the picture and let me know. I was able to get the dealer down to 9,500 for the truck, it does have a lot of miles but i got a powertrain warranty so i wasnt too concerned. I also had an 01 z-71 with 9 inches of lift with 20s on 38s and it held up good. Ive had the truck for 2 weeks and have had a transmission seal replaced (covered under warranty), intermediate steering shaft changed ($150), and it is now in the shop to get the shift cylinoid B changed because it also went out (Covered under warranty also). After this, i hope it will be ok the truck is super clean and you can tell it was well taken care of. I am planning a full blackout and have already ordered headlight covers and tail light covers. as soon as tax return comes in the wheels are getting PC black. other future plans Tint 3-4 drop K&N intake Good Tune around 100 shot of NOS Sorry for the lenghty Intro lol but i already love this truck and cant wait to start personalizing it! heres the exhaust It sounds awesome, theres no cracking or poping at all, and its loud but not anything like redneck straight pipes loud lol. Heres some shots of the truck its been raining so its dirty Heres my Bulldog Dozer all muscle 70 lbs and only 15 months! and heres my hobby, and my money pit... 06 yfz450 MXed out, more in this bike than in the truck...way more.
