My 1985 Blazer S10

well, I Shared this video with a few members a couple nights ago and they seemed to get a kick out of it.. so thought I would post it for you other guys and gals.

 

This is my 1985 S10 blazer, I did a sbc swap on.

 

355

2.02/1.6 heads ported and polished

1.8 RR's

scat 9000 pro stock crank

mahle power pack pistons & rings

edelbrock rpm intake

edelbrock 650 thunder carb

hooker headers

custom grind cam 111 lsa

hardend pushrods

 

turbo 350

shift kit

3k stall

hardend outter spline

 

12 bolt rear

4.11 yukons

eaton posi

 

future plans are to strip the interior out, cage it, and 10" slicks.. Haven't ran it on the track yet. Theres only a 1/8th mile here, any guesses on time ??

nice sound and strong. When is the stripvid coming?

 

Track doesn't open untill may 1st :shakehead:

I'll be sure to post a time right after, I can already tell you I'll have traction problems unless I get the slicks on before hand

 

sounds great. now slam that sucka! lol

 

 

lol.. I can't ! Oil pans is already pretty close, when it hooks it up lifts pretty hard, and comes down the same

 

Maybe some different shocks ? or maybe dropping the hell out of it will prevent some lift ? I don't know :confused:

not sure about times for yours but brothers S-10 with his 355 runs 6.20-6-30s in the 1/8 th and best of an 11.12 in the 1/4 so far. heres a couple of pics .......................lol

 

 

BTW.. that thing is f'in sick.

 

I'm sure he's running a full second faster than I will, if not more. Thats a serious machine right there :closedeyes:
