CoolBlueSS
Went to the eye doctor this morning, as I finally came to the realization that I need glasses. But bifocals?!

Hankg42
I was able to avoid reading glasses until I was in my late forties, but they're a necessity now.

Hankg42
laser vision correction FTW! I had that. My distance vision is perfect. It's the reading / close vision that still needs correction, especially due to age. I've heard that they're working on lasic for that too, but I'm happy with what I've had done. I hit my 40s and started falling apart.

Bad Bowtie
If it makes you feel any better, I'm 36yrs old. I had my eye exam just this last Dec. The doc said I'm a borderline bifocal candidate now, & it was really up to me (it was that close). So naturally I said, "I'll catch you next time".
