HuntersSS Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 My mechanic has a Joe Gibbs 2004 Extended Cab Black truck with 78k miles on it. The truck had work done to it ($2400) after the owner dropped the truck in drive at a high RPM (racing at a stop light) and broke something in the transmission (output shaft I believe). The guy can't pay for it or hasn't come to get it so it looks like the shop is going to end up sending away for a abandoned vehicle title. It looks like the guy scratched the entire passenger side against a guard rail and it will need four new tires... thats just what I can see looking at it from the outside... other than that it is a nice truck... I would buy it if it was a steal... he says it is worth 14-18k and he wants 11-12k... I am not so sure that is a good price... What would you pay for it?
