20_blkss_04 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 that price is about average.....if you want to though prep work is what it costs! if u could do any of the prep work yourself your only saving time for the bodyshop witch is actually money for you! for example i have a full cladding kit going on my truck and im doing all the prep work to help save some money. the shop told me its almost saving me about 300!! it only cost me bout 40 in supplies( sand paper discs, and primer!) good luck man keep us posted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

20_blkss_04 Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 painting body parts isnt all that bad it can be done its just all in the prep! the only tip i can say here is def. make sure your doing the final spray in a closed area i got some dust on my mirrors and it looks like shit! the wind was blowing into my garage..... Custom paint and stuff and not the cheap stuff 500 bucks and thats a friend doing it??
