I have been running 50W kits as lows & highs for 4+ years now, plugged into the factory harness and no problems (remember the halogen bulbs pull 55-watts on that existing wiring). The 50W kits throw double the lumens of the 35W kits, so you get 1/4 to 1/3rd more distance. If you can afford the 50W kits I would encourage it. Also, I got 6000K and now after all this time the low-beam lamps are blueing on me (so it's more like 7000K light) if I knew this originally I would have gotten a 4300 kit; but I still love my lights.
