Need A New Motor

im not sure when, but when i started it up one morning i heard a terrible clanking. ended up having to ignore it, seeing as the SS is the only truck/tow vehicle i have now. so, i drove it about 2500 miles of towing and hauling. no KR, no knock... other than the noise, a little oil consumption, it ran okay.

took it apart, bank 2 blown head gasket. bank 1, cyl 5 has a piece the size of a thumb missing completely. it goes to the top ring, but the ring is intact. it did, however, damage the block pretty good. so seemingly this would be a great time for the TVS powered 408 i had planned, but i cant even come close to that. in a few weeks ill prob be able to overbore the block .030 and just replace the pistons. the rods and crank are fine. :(

so, i am prob gunna finish pulling it today. have it bored .030 so it will be reusable, and reuse my crank and rods. so essentially its the same motor. only difference is i finally hooked the spray up. and am saving for that TVS lol
