How Do I Remove Hard Water Stains From My Truck

Recommended Posts

So i came out this morning and the sprinklers were watering the grass at my condo and my truck is covered in a gray film of hard water. I could barley see out of my windshield. I tried using windex and that did not work, then i wen to the local gas station and washing it there, and that did not work then i went to the store and bought some rainex 2in1 foaming window cleaner that is supose to remove road grime and bugs, and that did not work

Does anyone know of what i can use to clean in? I need to get it off the paint too, im sure that a clay bar will work to remove it from the paint, and i know that steel wool and chrome polish will remove oxidation from windows but that could take hours.

Does anyone have sugestions?

Try some vinegar and water. Works like a charm!

:withstupid: white/distilled.. apply to soft cotton rag, apply gently and wipe clean with seperate cotton cloth.. takes them right off.

be sure to wax it right away to prevent further stains !
