elcompalaline
Have a set of HIDs on my truck, I would like them to last me a while but I don't have full control over the lights. I have disabled the Daytime Running Lights but would like to do the same with the Auto Light feature. Anyone have an idea how to disable the photocell on the dash for these newer models? Any help would be appreciated.

ImpalaSSpeed96
Did you disable the DRL's through the fuse box in the cab? I would assume the auto lights would be super easy to disable. If you really want to, find the wire and cut it and put a resistor in. Bout the easiest thing I can think of.
elcompalaline
Na, disabled the DRL's in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Thing is I have no clue what wire would need the resistor, once I find out it will def be my next project. Thanks for the info!
ImpalaSSpeed96
Check online for some schematics... I'm sure there on here somewhere. Don't take my total advice on everything since I don't own a Silvy, but our disabler for the DRL's is in the cab. A resistor on the correct line should fix your issue tho. elcompalaline
A GM is a GM, they are all probably similar as far a wiring goes. Maybe the placement is different but your help is appreciated, thanks.
