Remove pan.

Remove filter.

Remove boost valve clip.

Remove boost valve.

Remove spring above boost valve and replace with blue spring from kit. There are two springs in there, only replace the larger of the two with the one from the kit. Make sure the new spring and the original smaller spring goes back in.

Install the new boost valve with both o-rings.

Install boost valve clip and make sure it is not bent or ruined and is installed correctly or the boost valve will be shot back out from pump pressure. This has been a problem in the past on installs and I've had many calls from this.

Revmove the TCC solenoid. To do this you'll need to remove the solenoid that is blocking the bolts. Once the solenoid is removed you need to remove the clip and disc holding in the TCC valve to be changed. Next remove the TCC valve and install the new TCC valve. The new valve will be ribbed (best way to decribe it) similar to the old so make sure it goes back in the same way the old one came out.

Re-install the disc and clip.

Remove the 1-2 accumulator. This is the accumulator housing near the rear corner of the valve body area.

Remove the piston for the accumulator. The easiest way to do this is with air pressure put to the port on the accumulator housing. Hold a rag around the piston area as this can be messy. The piston should just pop out. Just installing the new pink spring will make for a much better shift and if you want you can use the washer system from the kit following their instructions and using the pink spring. This will give a much firmer 1-2 shift and is often overkill when using the billet servo's. If you bought the aluminum accumulator piston re-install it here.

Remove the valve body next. Be carefull as the checkballs may want to fall out when you do this. You will want to re-use them. There is another steel plate holding the valve body spacer plate on and this also has to be removed.

Once the spacer plate is removed you need to remove the check ball in the rear of the case. It is about dead center in the rear of the case where the fluid passages are. This check ball will not go back in. It isn't easy to get out as it is in a capsule and will have to be picked out.

Move to the 3-4 accumulator next which is the accumulator in the case and install the ported plug (best name I can think of at this time of night) into the port that doesn't already have a blocker in it. I use a hammer and a socket extension to install this.

More instructions to come.

The rest can be followed from the valve body kit and servo kit though other than under no circumstances do you change any settings on the force motor. Do not change any settings on that.
