skeensSS Posted April 27, 2004 Report Share Posted April 27, 2004 I know this topic has probably been passed around a million times but Ive read through alot and still not sure about the kit. I have a black ss and I really love the look that darkseed has with his kit, but I was wondering about the problems people are having. If you use the factory set-up and just install in the kit and do nothing else, how much different is the ride? and does it bottom out alot? Im still using factory tires and wheels and not changing anything else. So basically if I install this kit what am I to expect different from factory other than a better look? rico750sxi Posted May 3, 2004 Report Share Posted May 3, 2004 I did the spindles in front and just shackles in the rear. I have no issues at all with bottoming or anything else. I am very happy with the way my truck turned out. I did have to shim the rear with a 2* shim to correct pinion angle. I did a post showing the spindle install, check it out.
