pursuit2550
Okay since I have to wait like 6-7 week to get the SS retuned I thought I might put a smaller pulley. I have done some shearching but have found no concrete numbers on pulley sizes. In other words Im running a 3.3 pulley which is suppose to be 5# of boost. Now I want to go to a smaller pulley but don't know how much boost I will gain with a certain pulley so I can make a choise. The engine is stock internally so I don't want to push it. I was thinking somewheres around 7-8# of boost. And what's a good place to buy them from.
rzauner
From what I'm hearing, when you pulley down, you will need a retune to adjust for it.

pursuit2550
I have a shift kit with 2&4 servos and Justin is my tune guy. I was doing so shearching on here and read one thread that said that the 112 injectors will only support a 3 inch pulley max. also is it worth voiding the warranty. Do maggies go bad. BCSM
So at what pulley size do you have start changing injectors on a maggie 112?
ANGRYGREG
If you have the 42 lb injectors that came with the maggie you should be able to use any of the pulleys listed above retune and be done with it. If you are going to really push your motor like that I would get a wideband gauge if you don't have one or a live tune...

If a 3.3 give you 5-6.5 psi then why does a 3.1 only give you 6. I saw on South Florida Pulleys web site that a 3.1 would give you 2psi over stock. Right know (considering Iam not tune right) I boost 4psi and it creaps to 5-5.5psi. As it is going to shift (I will have to double check) I think i saw 6psi. I can buy a 3.1 cheap. I dont want to over do it since its my DD. Edited July 10, 2009 by BLKSSS (see edit history)
kelleyperformance
do not go lower than a 3.0". thats an absolutely beautiful size. on our dyno, on stock 6.0s with just the maggie and a CAI, we generally see 40-50 whp with just the pulley swap and tune. i have built several SS trucks running around town bone stock with maggies 3" pulley, no problems. the radix kits are fantastic, very reliable and DD friendly. boost will be like 7ish psi. but trust me, its the numbers that make the truck, not the boost level give zippy a call or shoot him an email. he has tons of experience with these radix trucks, his tunes are great Edited July 10, 2009 by kelleyperformance (see edit history)
