Unleashedperformance
I'm in need of a new transmission what would be a good transmission with hard shifts that isn't incredibly expensive?

kcsilveradoss
Something a little cheaper? I'm thinking between 1-2 thousand I'm a broke college student you would be hard pressed to rebuild yours to stock for that price range...good luck
96vteccd5
What happened to the old transmission if you don't mind me asking. If your looking for a cheaper, take a look at the level 3. http://www.finishlinetrans.com/transmissio...ormance4L60.htm around $1650.00 Edited November 10, 2009 by 05on20's (see edit history)
Unleashedperformance
well I've found 4l60,65 and 700r in that price range but then again I don't know anything about how good they are
Unleashedperformance
Well hasn't gone out yet but whenever I take off normal it struggles to shift into 2nd like I have the tow/haul on or something and if I get down on it about 50 or 60 it shoots up to 5 grand and then drops back down to like 3500 almost as if shifting twice within one gear. 12'SROCK
FLT and RPM Transmissions are the only two companies I would consider...
Unleashedperformance
Alright with the FLT would the level 3 or level 4 60E be that much different than my stock transmission is? sorry have no clue about these kinds of things
