Well compared to the stock converter this one has to be better and this is the one that was suggested to me and I never had any problems with my stock one so I guess we'll see I'll keep y'all posted

I just ordered a truck thruster 3000 torque converter from yank to install with my new Level 4 FLT and was wondering if it has a lock up clutch and what exactly a lock up clutch is...these two companies suggested these but I just wanted a little more information about the torque converter. Reading the information off the website doesn't really break it down enough for me.

What type of heads should I get for a decent price and how much hp will I gain over the stock 5.3 heads?

Alright with the FLT would the level 3 or level 4 60E be that much different than my stock transmission is? sorry have no clue about these kinds of things

Well hasn't gone out yet but whenever I take off normal it struggles to shift into 2nd like I have the tow/haul on or something and if I get down on it about 50 or 60 it shoots up to 5 grand and then drops back down to like 3500 almost as if shifting twice within one gear.

well I've found 4l60,65 and 700r in that price range but then again I don't know anything about how good they are

3 Injectors were plugged up and 3 spark plugs were messed up...Runs great now!!!

Yes just so happened to be by oreillys when it was acting up and pulled in and all it said was multiple cylinder misfire

I don't have any cats on my truck but the code did say multiple cylinder misfire

Yes it is on and flashing but I don't know what REP mode is...hopefully not too difficult to fix

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestion my truck started running funny yesterday and it was like the engine was missing upon acceleration. I changed the spark plugs and that didn't help and it won't go but about 30 and then it will die out as if not getting enough gas or something any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jared

Does anyone know what I can do for an intercooler setup on a whipple supercharger and if you can even put one on a whipple. Its for a 05 5.3liter silverado
