SSR Test drive

I test drove a SSR yesterday at my local dealer. It is a cute truck but IMO hands down I won't be selling my SS! The inside was pretty sharp though, I would not have minded if Chevy had added some of that stuff to the SS. I did not really open the thing up because it only had a few hundered miles on it and I did not want to abuse it. If you can get a dealer to let you drive one it is worth it for the fun!!

Next year the SSR might be getting the LS2 V8 from the new vett.That's what I heard anyway.

Test drove the thing a couple months ago. It is mostly just a sunday cruiser as far as power. The one I drove had about 20 miles out it, but I opened her up and it was seriously like riding in my '02 Passat, very slow and heavy off the line. I like the looks though.

it's getting the LS2 next year, but not from the vette. it'd be way too hard to install the engine in a vette and pull it back out just to put it into an ssr. i'm sure it'll get it's own engine.

I thought it was a pooch also. A more powerful plant would be nice but it would go up from the 46K sticker. Yikes Might as well get a Vette!
