where do you plan on getting yours at? if i drop it the 2 inches to level it out, will it change the ride? do i need to get new shocks?

No the ride quality stays the same... Be sure to relocate your rear bump stops to the frame to allow more travel for the new 2" drop. Good luck!

i dont mean to be a pain, but i dont know much about it. does it matter if the shackles are for a ss or does it matter. i have only found the shackles for a regular s1500. i know our trucks are lower from stock than normal. i just dont know if the shackles will be the same

Nope it does not matter.. As long as they are for a 1500 short bed extended cab truck, if you are getting the belltech shackles the part number is #6400
