pirate#3
or just solenoids? What's the advantages/disadvantages of doing just the solenoids? Should I just wait and do both?
zippy
not sure why you'd change the solenoids?

MustBBrent
if you add the shift kit and servos, I would add the accumulator piston!!!!
pirate#3
servo's..headslap. Yeah servo's. Sorry. I was talking to somebody here in the shop about a solenoid and I guess my subconscious just typed that in. anyways, servos and the shift kit or just servos? I just want to firm up the shifts. These things shift like a winnebago.
zippy
shift kit and billet servo's with boost valve in my opinion. there are alot of posts on here about them if you'd like to see opinions on what they thought of it (the people that have them). superman
I did just the servos and with the custom tune it shifts hard. (just the way it should be). IMO that is. got mine from zippy himself. good luck.
