 I have a stock 03 SS. I installed a Volant system on the

truck and lost half a second in 1/4 mile. Took it off and gained it

back. Just want to know if anybody else had this problem, or due

you need to have a program in the ecm for it to work properly?

I used a G-tech to check time befor and after , and I know that

the G- tech is not perfact. I have used the G-tech in my vett alot

at the track and found it to be 1 to 2 tenths different. The truck felt

faster, but the first time all stock was 15.01@ 91mph . After I installed

the vollant I tested again and ran 15.50 @ 90mph. I made several

passes booth ways and readings were same. Just want to buy a

product that actualy does what they say. And no there was not a

plate over the intake pipe" I dont know how you install your parts

but it sounds like you need to read your instructions better". The

truck runs better with the stock box and a K&N air filter.

Bryan or (PCMFORLESS) has posted before that a Volant will cause you to run a bit lean at WOT if you don't have a (PCM) custom tune.

Toby,

90MPH in the 1/4 is not too shabby. I run a 14.6 @ 91. the 15.5 is a bit strange. Dunno what to say there padre.

Best of luck.
