zippy Posted June 10, 2004 Report Share Posted June 10, 2004 good to see you got the fast color. i wouldn't lift it at all, in fact if you don't plan to do much work with it, a couple inches lower would look cool. lifting any truck that you don't plan to seriously off road makes a poser of it. it's like adding a blower that doesn't make any boost. not to mention, lifting it would seriously slow it down and with the 11.5 rear and 9.25 front diff, changing gears would be far from cheap (it only comes with 3.73 stock). with very little work, you can make the duramax compete with even some of the faster SS trucks and get 20+mpg on the highway (unloaded). if i'm correct, westers and nelson also do pcm programming for the duramax which should be just as good as adding the box. maybe lyndon or allen can chime in on this. i don't recall bryan doing them yet though. track times coming soon?
