JF-03-SS Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 Checking to see if there is anyone interested in a Seacoast Cruise (GTG). I have talked to a few members here and they liked the idea. So here is what I am thinking of. Sunday June 6th. Starting/Meeting point Salisbury Beach in Mass. From there, on to Hampton Beach, N.H. continuing on Rt. 1A through Hampton, Rye, New Castle, and into Portsmouth to Pierce Island for a nice photo op. with my work in the back ground. Leaving there and crossing into Kittery Maine via Rt. 103 into York, through York Harbor, Long Sands Beach, up to Cape Neddick Light House (another great photo op.) down to Short Sands Beach to Shore Rd. into Ogunquit (Perkins Cove) finally up RT.1 to Wells and Wells Beach. Then depending on the number of people, we can grab lunch somewhere (Mikes Clam Shack) or we can do a cookout at our beach house (depends on how many people). Only as a guess the drive is like 40 miles or so, but only guessing right now. Cliff Notes: Sunday June 6th., drive the Seacoast from Salisbury Beach MA. to Wells, ME. If you'd like a navigator/passenger let me know since your new to the NorthEast (good chance I wont be able to drive).
