ctrow
At what point is everyone checking their mileage? When I fill up with about 22 gallons I usually have driven 280-290 miles. Is everyone else babying theirs that much? According to my average I run about 13.5 MPG.
aardvarkhunter24
Full to the rim - about 418 Bout time someone broke the 400 mark. I filled mine up today and the gauge went to 427. I averaged around 18 mpgs this last tank. The Volant seemed to help. Prior to it, I was seeing 15-16.
davechevyss
I'm lucky if I make it to the 350 mark! I HEAR YA on that one, mines between 320-350, usually at 320 my heavy right foot in traffic, has caused the back pocket to get a bit shallower these days!!! quickmedic1
Here in Pgh, Pa I usually get 13.5 - 13.8 city/highway. I took the truck to Wisconsin this weekend and was surprised to get 18.0 mpg. This was all highway, little or no ac, 93 oct sunoco. Filled up in Ohio and checked it from there. I did notice the magic mph on a flat level roadway seemed to be 70 mph. Coming home was bad but I was also going 85 mph most of the way home. My truck is stock with no add ons.
