aardvarkhunter24
When you fill up, how much does your gauge say you have? I.E. How many miles do you have left. (I know it says full on the needle) Mine says 430-450 MILE HIGH

aardvarkhunter24
Elevation? Hmmm. I do average around 17 mpg since installing the vorlant. That's city driving. As half my driving is highway... I get much better mileage.
SSilverad03
I'm lucky if I get 320-340, best mpg so far for one tank is 14.1 . I think I drive like a madman though.

artval
hmm... On the highway i average about 16, maybe 16.5 if i'm lucky. I travel to san antonio every week, and i only do like 65, trying to save gas. In the city, i average about 13 or less. I think i need to get a volant. Nightshift
Before the Radix I barely got 10. I haven't filled since the install, I have a feeling it won't be so good. WW
SSminneapolis
i was getting pretty good gas milage, but since i moved closer to work i don't get over 10-11. the drive consits of 2 stop lights and 1 stop sign, about 1mile if i take the long way. but when i fill up it usually goes up to 340 or so. rdss
I get around 360-380, depending apon how I have driven the truck on the prior tank. And since I have moved down from Maine to Florida, my highway mileage has went from 15-16 down to 14-14.5. I am hoping to get a custom tune in the near future and see if that helps or worsens the situation.
dancar
This may sound a little nuts but I have experienced this three times. My truck gets better mileage when in a hilly area than it gets on a flat condition. I live in upstate ny and drive from Binghamton to Malone. It's about 270 miles one way. The first 80 miles between Binghamton to Syracuse is quite hilly and a 65mph speed limit. I keep the speed at 67 in cruise and I'll get about 18.5 mpg. From Syracuse to Malone it is essentially flat along lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. My mileage will end up being an average of 17.5. The last 125 miles I cruise at 63 mph with three traffic lights. The traffic lights have a minimal effect on the average. I can watch the average dropping well before I get to the area that has the lights. I attribute the situation to the 4.10 gears being more than the truck needs for cruising and doesn't have to work to pull the hills. However the 30-50 mpg it gets coming down the hill really adds up.
