jonathan290 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 So, I go out to the truck this morning and a noise is coming from under the truck. I start her up and the ABS Light is on. So I pull the 60A fuse on the ABS and of course the noise goes away. Eventually, playing with the fuse to turn the ABS on and off stopped the noise under the truck with the engine off. [email protected] Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 ABS module is shot. Pull the fuse otherwise it will kill your battery. The modules are expensive $1500 here in Canada. I've gone through three in my truck until I finally went broke replacing them. I've driven 4+ years without but I have the ABS and brake idiot lights lighting the dash. The modules are very poor design in that they don't have any sealant to protect the circuit boards in them. I blew two just washing my truck.
