gmcsierragt
I have a 03 SS awd with just under 212,000 miles, runs great and I love it, but sometime in the future Id like to get one with lower miles. What I want and have had my eyes peeled for is a Black SSS AWD with a moonroof, How rare is that truck with a moonroof? were they only made in 05 and later? Eddie
I've never seen them with a true moonroof. Just the sunroof that hangs over. I thought a member had a true moonroof installed by a shop in Downey,CA.
zippy
They are rare. 05' was the only year you could get the moonroof and awd both. 06' and 07's are 2wd only, 05's were 2wd and optional AWD where as the 03' and 04' were AWD only. Eddie
Another member got an aftermarket one. A true moonroof. This is what I'm going to get eventually. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...mpany&st=

JF-03-SS
There is a place up in Portland that can install a factory style sunroof into your (any) truck Justin. I almost did it a few years back, that is how I found them.
gmcsierragt
wow the pics of r8rs4lf is exactly what I had in mind, anyone has a idea of what that would cost? also I was wondering if anyone with a after market moonroof could take a pic of the switch for the roof and tell me where they put it, Id really like to have the factory one in the overhead console. I saw a overhead console with the right buttons on ebay for cheap not to long ago but I forgot and the auction ended, kickin myself for not grabbing that
