stroked out
I know topics have been brought up before but I've been looking into drag radials for the track since I blow off all four tires with my set up. I want to you what you guys think about the nitto NT05R tire on an 18inch rim. Also what rims would you guys recommend for that tire. I cant seem to find an 18inch rim that has the right width for that tire any helps would be appreciated. maybe center lines? i was thinking 315/40R/18 since its 28 inches tall and I'm awd with 4:10's thanks guys Ill get a video up soon of her launching
04CHASE
cant say those tires are still too new . i had the nitto 555r back a couple years ago . they were not sticky and didnt help much i am now running mickey thompson 305/45/18 on all four with some centerline 18x9.5 dagger rims . they dont stick out and arent too heavy but arent lightweight by any means . not alot of options out there for that size without going custom for tires the more sidewall the better when your dealing with drag radials. low pro tires cant be as soft since they need to keep a profile better . mt et streets and m+h make 305/45/18's and they are both near the same compound . im sure the new nittos are an improvement but how much ? who knows time will tell .
