Sounds like fun, but I've read that pulling front driveshaft in these trucks will hurt power output to the rear wheels, and fry the transfer case. Anyone else know about this?

I'm not sure it would hurt power...if it typically has to spin the front wheels, it seems like you'd pick up a little power by NOT having to spin the front wheels.... :dunno:

As far as frying the transfer case, you'd be fine. Virgil used to dyno his SS with the front driveshaft removed and it didn't hurt anything.

Hmmm and just a mile from my house too... :P

Come on by and bring that camera of yours too!

OK I'll make an effort to swing by with the camera in the late morning/early afternoon for a while; no promises though.

Mr. P. :)
