Motul

Recommended Posts

I was looking into Motul fluids for the LQ9 however in november we added it to a bmw. The bm is running smoother, however it seems to make the car run at a higher temp. (someone else told me about the same situation and I have noitced it alot more now with other indications of a hotter running engine). On Mobil 1 we had no problems at all and ran a it ran cooler, so next oil change I am going back to M1 and keeping my SS on M1. I still have brochures I can look through, a local speed shop had the certain types I could use, there were 2 choices. It depended on what I wanted for oil service intervals and the grade of oil I wanted to choose. One was the equivalent of M1, the other a higher grade oil. Ill have to call them on Monday.
