Noise Diagnose Please

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

Looks like the cause is the AC belt... such a simple thing I don't know how I missed it >.< Getting it replaced Tuesday, hopefully that takes most of the sound away. Now my oil cooler lines are leaking and so is my coolant unsure where from >.< just another day in the life of owning a vehicle.

thx for the help everyone

lol the dealer told me it was going to cost 600 bucks to replace the oil lines... HELL NO lol. Either I'll buy the gaskets if thats the problem, or I'll buy new steel braided lines for it sometime this summer, its not really a must-fix thing imo.

I can still hear a very slight whir but its pretty much all gone now.

I just bought brand new Dorman oil cooler lines and block with gaskets for under $60 shipped to me.

I have a small leak from my return line. It don't drip but I don't want it to get that bad. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?a=G-autoparts
