DirtySSouth Posted July 13, 2004 Report Share Posted July 13, 2004 I only want to drop the rear of my truck an inch, maybe two..I dont believe it is necessary to spend 350$ on the Mcgauphy's kit if I am doing such a mild drop...It is possible to drop only the rear 1'' or maybe 2 by doing longer shackles in the rear correct? If i just wanted to do that, nothing else...where could I find a shackle kit for an SS..is it the same for just a reg 2003 Silverado? Thanks! Lee Posted July 13, 2004 Report Share Posted July 13, 2004 Moto - Due to my oversize tires that's all I'm going to do to mine, too. After some research I've decided to go with the Belltech Shackles in the rear (link here) which will give you about a 2 inch drop and just turn the torsion bars down in front.
