He currently owns the wold record at 10.1 in the 1/4 mile.We are expecting low 9's or high 8's. Please feel free to come by and support and run your trucks this weekend at Speedworld in Phoenix Arizona on March 19 and 20. We will be there on both days. Chase has to make it. That would be one hell of a video of the Srt10 vs Chase. The winner gets to beat up on a Lightning. 04CHASE Posted March 18, 2011 Report Share Posted March 18, 2011 (edited) doubt i would stand a chance , maybe if my truck was 2wd and under 5000 lbs. i havent seen the truck but im keeping mine the way it is until i break something major pushing the setup i have , im gunning for 9's with it and think it will happen with this engine and turbo piping , i may upgrade the compressor but @ 20+ psi , a converter that actually works, and all the elements in check i really think i may glimpse at single digits in a awd 6k lb truck . when i break this , then i will go bigger and better. next time ill shoot for 2k hp and go 2wd. No he did not beat his old record as he has some bugs to work out. Dom truck should be ready for Famosa next month to attempt the record again. Maybe some SS guys would like to go?
