This is what has consumed me for the last month... It was quite the project to tackle, but accomplished what I wanted. Now i want more.

I would like to say thank you to the people on the forum who gave me helpful input when selecting parts for my build and the members who were able to answer my questions along the way.

Here is what i did to my truck. I am sure i forgot some things but this is most of it.

TSP 228R cam 112lsa

TSP hardened push rods

LS2 Timing chain

LS7 lifters

LS2 lifter trays

stock 317 heads milled .040 and 3 angle valve job

GM MLS head gaskets

Comp Cams Trunion upgrade

ARP head studs

8.1 marine injectors

walbro 255 fuel pump

Pacesetter Ceramic coated headers

Cat delete

Volant CAI

160 thermostat

Torrent E fan kit

Wheatly Tune

msd wires

 

Power Adder-

Nitrous Outlet truck plate system w/ 150hp jets

 

Trans-

Performabuilt level 3 trans

Performabuilt 3600 billet stall

 

Suspension-

DJM ¾ drop

airlift slamair air bags

 

Brakes-

Front

Z06 calipers w/ 15" Baer 2 piece rotors

 

Tires-

295/40/20r tires 29.5 dia

 

Interior-

AEM wideband

Autometer fuel pressure and nitrous pressure

 

Best et so far 13.49 @98mph

it sure was a pain waiting for the security re-learn so i could hear it for the first time. but well worth it

Yeah, stock short block... with 125xxx miles. And it did need a bath i washed it but it still needs a full detail.

hmm. for some reason i was thinking they should have a little dish piston in the LQ9s. i guess i have been tearing apart to many LQ4s lately. anyways nice build. best of luck with the nitrous. just watch out how hard you push the stock trans im on my 4th trans im hoping this 4l80 will last.

Update- truck now has a Performabuilt level 3 transmission(destroyed stock one playing on a roadcourse)

Performabuilt billet 3600 stall

 

And i have since purchased Zo6 brakes from BlownFogger540 that will go on in the spring and a Nitrous outlet plate kit.

I am planning on running a 150 shot. Hopefully will have new times to post when the track re-opens this spring.

 

Now that i have a larger stall i am kind itching for a bigger cam. Something like Duration-23x/23x Lift-.61x/.62x
