justanother
I am having a hard time deciding between these units. How good is the navigation in the Pioneer units. On the 4300DVD has anyone had the flip down face stop working. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVIC930/Pioneer-AVIC-X930BT.html?tp=20212 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVHP43/Pioneer-AVH-P4300DVD.html?tp=20217
diggerdan11
The 4300DVD is a very popular Headunit. There are quite a few members on here with that unit and they all love it. I want one bad but just cant really afford it right now, maybe one day
Ruben525
Go Alpine!!! I don't like the pioneer my SS came with. As soon as I can I'm getting an Alpine.

justanother
Go Alpine!!! I don't like the pioneer my SS came with. As soon as I can I'm getting an Alpine. Alpines are nice but way out of my budget. I just install the avh 4200 and love it!!! try looking on amazon.com prices are pretty good some times cheaper!! I was just using crutchfield for information and pictures. I already found both these units for much cheaper.
jddmj
Both my head unit and subwoofers (premier shallow) are pioneer. I love them. I've always been a pioneer fan myself, though. The guy at sonic electronix talked me in to a kenwood amp. No complaints what so ever. paulguy
Both units are nice. It just depends on how bad you want navigation and the extra features on the 930bt like bluetooth. Also better sound on the 930 with a 24bit converter.
justanother
How does the pioneer navigation compare to garmin and tomtom?
90zxdriver
Pioneer navigation sucks... no way around it. Only complaint I have about my Z110BT. My $100 Garmin navigation unit is way better than my $1,000 Pioneer navigation unit. Just sayin'
juriha
If your looking for good Nav, look no further than Kenwood. As they are in partner with Garmin and the Nav is top notch. Pricey, but the best IMO.
mcmahan
I have the 4200 DVD as well with the Pioneer NAV add on and its amazing its spot on. It is better than any other GPS I have had NAV

SilvSSguy
do you need the 100 dollar wiring harness to run the 4200?
