01Thunder Posted August 7, 2004 Report Share Posted August 7, 2004 Ok, mark your calenders As of right now the date of the next GTG in Houston, looks like it is gonna be on the 22 of Aug. I will post more info (like where we will meet, and what times) at a later date. We will also be going to HRP once more for some more fun after the meet. keep checking back this is an on going GTG that I setup atleast once a month for several diffrent boards. If you are interested in going just post up that you are. I understand there are other GTG's going on, this is just an invite. there are several here that went to the last one we had, and can chime in about what all goes on. the track (Houston Raceway Park) opens at 4:00Pm. we will be having some fun running the trucks at the 1/4 mile. also may have a little grudge match racing going on. good place to get some windshield practice time under your belt. it's all in good fun, and if you need it, there will be people there that will be able to give ya some pointers on what to, and not to do. If ya got any questions, you can email me, or just post them up here, I will be glad to answer, any and all questions any make or model is welcome to join us. last time we had 16 Gm trucks, 4-5 Dodge trucks, and 1 Nissan Titan there. 01Thunder Posted August 12, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 12, 2004 ok AUG 22, @ 4:00pm. we will be meeting at HRP. when entering the gates, you will preceed to the end of the pit bleachers. we will be parking right along the track wall, near the end of the 1/4 mile strip this is where I will have a red pop up canopy(hopefully) set up. just look for an all black reg cab silverado. that will be me it is $15 to race----as many passes as you can get in before they close or $8 to watch. let me know if you will be joining us Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If we do we might go out to HMS only it's an 1/8 mile track. I will see what the reaction is to this. Sorry that Sundays arent good for you. about half of the guys comin are only comin for the track time at HRP. and they are comin as far away as the Dallas area.
