What is the best recommended Cold air Intake To put On a Silverado SS.......New to the forum and looking for advice to fix up my SS......thanks

About any CAI works great with these trucks. You could even buy an ebay cheap O, and put a universal K&N on it. I have a K&N CAI, but its just because I got it for cheap.

Airaid composite intake tube and k&n filter and you're good to go.

A lot of guys run the Volant intake. I like it a lot, plus it looks great under the hood.

i run the K&N and like it, i like it over the Volant because the filter is not in a sealed box, it's open with a heat shield.

Same deal here. It's a replica AEM brute force. Got mine for $48 a few years ago.

I agree with above. The CAI works best with the aluminum piping as it dissipates heat alot better tha plastic and it looks better.

GMPP, Volant, K&N or AEM. I wouldnt go with the cheapo no name brand kind. Just read the cai wars.

Also you have to consider what you want.....oiled filter or non oiled, enclosed intake so you take in no engine heat or a cai like K&N that does not have a box.
