jddmj Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 About any CAI works great with these trucks. You could even buy an ebay cheap O, and put a universal K&N on it. I have a K&N CAI, but its just because I got it for cheap. Quote
The_aSSet Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Airaid composite intake tube and k&n filter and you're good to go. Quote
eeekroar Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 A lot of guys run the Volant intake. I like it a lot, plus it looks great under the hood. Quote
sonickoolten Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 im running a volant with a power core........ i like it Quote
EmoWalrus05 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Volant just look at my sig Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 Quote
Friday25 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 i run the K&N and like it, i like it over the Volant because the filter is not in a sealed box, it's open with a heat shield. Quote
MARTYW Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 K&N with composite tube. Love mine. Has a touch of whistle! LOL Quote
cmoney23 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 I run the ebay special. Its looks bad ass under the hood. Quote
canadianVRss Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 I run the ebay special. Its looks bad ass under the hood. Same deal here. It's a replica AEM brute force. Got mine for $48 a few years ago. Quote
Blown 346 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 I agree with above. The CAI works best with the aluminum piping as it dissipates heat alot better tha plastic and it looks better. Quote
jm3907 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Same deal here. It's a replica AEM brute force. Got mine for $48 a few years ago. Just found some em, price is a steal. Are they good though? Quote
f1ss Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 GMPP, Volant, K&N or AEM. I wouldnt go with the cheapo no name brand kind. Just read the cai wars. Also you have to consider what you want.....oiled filter or non oiled, enclosed intake so you take in no engine heat or a cai like K&N that does not have a box. Quote
