anyone know how to remove styrofoam out of intercooler?

Recommended Posts

If they're the biodegradable ones just flush it with water, if its not then acetone will dissolve the regular styrofoam ones but I don't know the adverse effects on the radiator with acetone.

Edit:oh, intercooler. Should be fine with acetone but id test it on the outside first

yeah id just flush it with water. are they on the inside or outside? if your saying they are stuck on the inside. id just neck down one side of the intercooler and spray compressed air into it and it should come out>

I just used the air compressor on mine and my buddies....not sure why people aren't smart enough to cap the intercoolers before putting peanuts in...

Just use a dry vacuum, it can suck and blow lol.

No seriously I think it'd work. Can u see any in there or just your conscious about some being stuck? I'd be mad if it didn't come with caps.

And since u have an intercooler... I'm assuming there's some kinda boost that's gonna be fed through it... : )
