AUTOGUY Posted September 6, 2004 Report Share Posted September 6, 2004 It would be cool if you could put the "SS 427" in place of the bowtie in the grill. It looks like that is where the emblem is supposed to go. If you do that, then you need to change all your "SS" emblems to match. The one you show looks like a late 60's earely 70's Style. On the 69 Camaro SS, the SS is on the fender between the wheel and door. The engine size is in front of the wheel well on the front fender. If you are going for the Chevelle look, the SS and the engine size are between the wheel and door. Like this... I was thinking about changing my SS logos to the Old Style. I have the "Cowl Induction" logos from a Chevelle on the Hood and thought the old Style SS would look good with it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
