Numbr3t
I'm going to be purchasing an 07 classic vortec max silverado. It's my understanding that the exhaust is separate untill it meets at the muffler dual in dual out then Ys into one and exits. I want to run LPP longtubes which would eliminate the cats but why can't I just use a y off the headers and run it through a single in/out muffler like a 5.3 silverado? Any suggestions? I don't want it loud but a little louder than stock is fine.
cb2big4u
Nothing wrong with that at all. Only reason i can think of is "less flow". But there is trucks on here supercharged running a setup like that. I personally would keep the true duals, to each their own though. Numbr3t
I wish I didn't have to spend $1,500 to have a direct bolt up header setup

GTRogers
Ive heard a lot of good reviews from the factory lq9 headers so whats the big deal on replacing them? just better airflow?
