Sneakystiffler21
http://spectator.org/archives/2012/08/24/goodbye-v-8s-the-engines-that/ If this is real, our SS's and everything else with a V8 will become collectors items. Krambo
...Alot of false info in that article. Take it for wahtever its worth. V8's will be available LONG into the future of internal combustion engines. Want to drastically improve fuel efficiency?...dump the EPA and allow the lean buring of non ethanol "enhanced" fuels. diggerdan11
Never going to happen. I can see no more V8's in cars because of the CAFE rules, but trucks are always going to need V8's and they will be around for a long time to come. And Krambo is right. The EPA is the issue, they have become way to powerful. They were originally established to be an agency to enforce environmental laws passed by congress, but over the past decade or so they have run freely unchecked (even worse in the last 4 years) making whatever rules they want. If we want to keep V8's into the future we need to put the EPA in check. Bring in new blood in congress who are willing to stand up the the EPA and there overburdening regulations.
