rdavid0412
Yea it was good meeting you too Steve! My friend stopped by and made a couple fuel adjustments because its waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too fat up top. I ordered my catch can with a double check valve and the oil breather cap. I also splurged on an escort 9500ix today, along with some LED resistors to stop the quick flashing. But so far so good. As for the video, I might splurge on a Go Pro. but we will see. rdavid0412
I intermittenly have codes for the X-link not talking to the ECU and I get the Reduced Power notice on the info center. Also the truck leans out after a beating and starting the deceleration. All small things im sure Zippy will help me with when he is back to being out and about. Even though he is laid up he has still given me all kinds of help! I must say, i probably will never meet zippy face to face but he is one hell of a good person and just as good at tuning!!!! Your the man ZIPPY!!!!!!!
rdavid0412
Escort 9500ix, harness and LED resistors came in yesterday and today. Anyone know why the Escort goes nuts while under WOT?
GI.SS
Why can't anyone just install an x link with no issues. Making me worry about when mine comes in
rdavid0412
Its and intermittent thing too. Pretty sad when I have to ride around with my code scanner so my truck doesn't stay in limp mode.

rdavid0412
Build the 65 or find an 80?
D1SCSS
That depends on you. I love my built 4l65. I don't know if it will hold up to the power I'm going to put threw it? If I bought a truck with a stock trans I would probably sway to a 4l80!
rdavid0412
Still getting bank 2 lean codes, intermittent reduced power codes, and now my elec fans arent working................... FML
D1SCSS
Hey Richard, What tests have you done for the bank 2 lean codes???? Text me
rdavid0412
No tests, I scan it. It mainly kicks the light on if the truck idles for a few min. I think its in the long term fuel trim correction. My phones in my pocket, hit me up.
rdavid0412
Found out Zippy sent me another updated tune. Now to make the trip to Havelock sometime soon. I hope the fuel curve is better because the truck is really fat on fuel up top and sometimes rolling into the throttle it gets really rich. But over all the truck runs very well. I am pretty sure I need to get a new water pump and change out the plugs too. Maybe this weekend but we will see when i actually figure out what all of the plans are. Debating on going to a car show in Greenville this weekend..................
