cnrtool
Problem solved. 50$ to the mechanic 1.50$ for the busing + 8 bucks shipping and I dont have to lift the petal over bumps. The part number I posted was the correct one for my 03 ss. As for the old one, the head on one side of the bushing had disintegrated with age. This allowed the petal to move left and right. The bushing ID had worn too, but not that much. I ordered a couple extra bushings if anyone is interested. If you are interested, the box would be 4 x 4 x 6 and it weighs 3 oz.. The bushing is free if you email a first class label. It may cost a buck or two. I have no need for the extras. lakerenegade@ yahoo , com (take out the spaces) Edited September 24, 2012 by cnrtool (see edit history)

skolman91
just put mine in, feels tons better, between this and a new iss and steering bearing feels like a different truck with no rattles/clunks.. and if your brake lights dont work after check the fuse first, dont go buy another brake switch, trust me...lol
Slammed05
I think it should be a recall. Cause it does the same thing in my truck and it's a 05 GMC Sierra crew. It's very irritating.
