I am thinking about ditching the intercooler i have now for the one off the d-max. Has anyone ever done this or considered it? I need some input please! I know they are quite a bit bigger intercoolers than the normal intercoolers on our turbo kits. but I know they fit the big coolers into the front of the Dmax without issues. it would be more surface area for air to hit so you think the IATs would drop a bit. it should work you would just need to run new intercooler piping or atleast mod the stuff you have now. chpspecial Posted October 30, 2012 Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 Last time I checked into it I found out that it was too tall... the 2"body lifts that the HD's have allow them to run that intercooler with no issue.
