arod6692
I just bought all 4 hids and was reading you need to do the 4 high mod. how exactly do you do that.
rdavid0412
Don't do the diode crap, i always prefer using relays and inline fuses. go to summit.com or jegs.com and pay the $50 for the painless kit. it takes like 10-20 min to install. I've had mine done for over a year without a single issue.
chawkins6789
Lmc truck has a relay kit just for that. I'm using it. Its been on over a year. No issues. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Xparent Red Tapatalk
ThatTallCanadian
I have the diode mod. It's 25 freaking cents, and I've had it for over 2 years now and not one single problem. In every single driving condition.
chawkins6789
Yea the relay version is $20 or $25. Its nice to have and possibly a peace of mind but if I had to do it again, I would do diodes. Blown 346
I agree diodes. Place one diode in the 85 pin on the highbeams and the other part on the 85 pin of the low beams. Its the fuse panel under the hood. I have ran it this way for also over 2 years with no issue.

cb2big4u
When I did this to my truck I used the search function and it brought up numerous threads on how to do it. Plus there is an actually how to on it. Why have there been 4 threads with this in the last month. /endrant You place the diode under the 85 pin of any lights relay. Weather it sends power or a low couple volts just to say turn on, I'm not sure. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk

MID12sSSS
I had the 4 high relay kit and my headlights would intermittently just shut off over bumps. Didnt care for it. Went the diode route and no problems.
