LilEz02
Well this is a interesting story. Ill try to be short and to the point with it. My girls dad is from columbus and me and her live towards cleveland. well he took a job at key bank and moved to a apartment up here in a not so good neighborhood. in two weeks hes gonna move out and into a downtown place. well he had alot of cars, and trucks and hes at the age where hes "simplifying" his life. selling his house, already sold his el camino and bikes. well he had his truck up for sale and someone was supposed to come buy it but he went out one morning and the door handle was broke and column was torn up from some one trying to steal it. they did not get it thank god!!! well heres where it turns good for me, knowing that i want a truck i can actually use as a truck instead of sit in the garage all the time, i got a call. he said and i quote, "im so tired of dealing with this bullsh*t, come get this truck today or im donating or scraping it". i was shocked and also already turned around and headed there in my car just to get it out of there so they wouldt try to come back and get it. i had it towed to my shop and looked it over. they were trying to hot wire it and blew the 40A fuse under the hood then spinning the key cylinder with vise grips. i changed the fuse and started it with a screw driver. went and got a key cylinder, column cover and door handle and were good to go. now the info... its a 1995 chevy 3500HD dully diesel. its got a 6.5 crate motor 4 years ago thats at 15k miles now. its got a few performance upgrades i can tell so far as i learn about these things. a K&N filter, full 4'' exuast and 3 gauge piller pod. this is truly all new to me. first diesel ive owned and i gotta say, i been driving it for almost 2 weeks and i absolutely love this truck. it has new tires with aftermarket wheels and a 5th wheel hitch too. i must say i am very thankful that i got that call before a scrap yard and now i finally got a truck i can use as a truck. gonna start on taking decals and pinstripes off and wet sand and buff the whole truck then might put new ones on, not to sure yet. and im pretty sure the running boards are coming off today. shes a little rough around the edges but i can clean it up slowly. well heres some pics and sorry this got so long, just a cool story i wanted to share cause ive never ever been giving anything this nice. after just the first wash... wheel after 2 hours of polishing. still gotta take them off and re do them and paint rear wheel black
