A lot of guys just run stock gaskets on their Built motors. I will be running a set of LS9 gaskets on my build.good for boost and what bore I need. Cramer Posted March 9, 2013 Report Share Posted March 9, 2013 If you are planning on running boost or spray I would go with the LS9 gaskets. They are a .10" thicker than the stock gaskets if I remember correct but they are a 7 layer MLS.
